Project Description

Toulouse Petit contracted BDS to refresh their logo and update their website. As an established restaurant with a strong local presence, they needed to refine their branding and modernize their digital experience while maintaining the character their guests recognize.

Rather than completely redesigning the logo, our goal was to carefully recreate and refine the original mark, preserving its identity while improving clarity, balance, and usability across print and digital platforms.

Following the logo refinement, we designed and developed a new website focused on functionality and atmosphere. The project included updated menus for both print and online use, integrated online reservations, gift card purchasing capabilities, and featured food highlights. Throughout the process, we ensured the visual direction complemented the restaurant’s warm, wood-accented architectural interior.

The result is a cohesive brand presence that honors Toulouse Petit’s established identity while supporting its continued growth.

When BDS designs and builds a logo, the logo project includes a variety of elements.

  • Logo Variations
    • This usually includes horizontal and vertical layouts. Black, 2 color or 1 color versions of the logo. Logos variations for apparel and other specialty needs.
  • Logo Formats
    • Formats include vector artwork files for print, ad specialties and apparel needs, pixel artwork for the digital and website needs.
  • Logo Guidelines
    • This is a digital document that sets color and type designations, logo dos and don’ts, and usage rules.

Strategic Website Design

Our approach centered on presenting Toulouse Petit’s food and ambiance in a visually engaging way, while making it easy for guests to reserve a table, view updated menus, and purchase gift cards.
